DIY Mini Wrapped Bouquet

Spread the love with this cute and sentimental wrapped bouquet. Easy to put together and a low-key and sentimental gift for a loved one.

FLORAL SUPPLIES AND TOOLS NEEDED

STEP 1: ARRANGE THE MINI BOUQUET

Begin to arrange your mini bouquet piece by piece

Pick your favorite flower! We are using just one bloom and we chose Peony. We pre-dyed the flower earlier with a very pale peach. You can dye the flowers any color by picking your favorite shade in our color gallery.

Start adding the fillers making sure to cup the bloom. Arrange them in layers, overlapping as you go. We have dried Caspia, Asters, and Baby’s Breath fillers giving this mini piece some nice contrast, texture, and depth.

Once you have an arrangement that you like, tie the blooms together with floral tape.

STEP 2: PREPARE THE FLORAL WRAPPER

Lay flat the floral wrapper and cut out four 5.5 x 5.5 inch squares.

Set one square aside. Fold the other three squares in half and cut them lengthwise. You now have 6 rectangle wraps

STEP 3: PREPARE TO WRAP THE MINI BOUQUET

Start wrapping by folding the left part of the square wrap as shown in the above photo. Then position the bouquet in the middle with the top higher than the wrap.

Take the left bottom corner of the wrapper and fold it over towards the center and do the same to the right bottom side.

It’s time to add the second layer of wrap. Take one rectangle wrap and fold it loosely. You don’t need to fit the edges. Position this at the side of the first wrap, about an inch lower, and overlapping a little.

Do the same to the left side. Repeat the process with two more rectangular wraps. This time, position the third layer about an inch lower than the second.

Accordion fold a wrap and use this to cover the front part of the bouquet crosswise. Secure with floral tape, twine, or scotch tape.

Take the last piece of wrapper and cover the back part of the bouquet. Fold over towards the front center and overlap.

Tie a ribbon securely and nicely around the bouquet and seal with hot glue.

Add a bow or charm if you wish.

Next, trim the stems to equal lengths and levels with the floral wrap.

Tada! Isn’t that lovely! Ready to spread the love with this miniature bouquet but big on love and meaning.
