Sold in a pack of 12, floral wire is a basic floral supply that is needed to create beautiful floral arrangements, wreaths, and more. This 18 gauge stem wire is made of green cloth-covered aluminum, which is strong enough for bigger projects, but light enough for more delicate projects.
This wire is wrapped in cloth, is more aesthetically pleasing and is usually wrapped around stems to complete bouquets, corsages, and centerpieces. Cloth covered wire can be especially useful when creating royal icing flowers for cake decorations and act as stems!
Wire diameter is measured in gauges. The key is to remember the larger the gauge, the thinner and more manageable the wire.
