DIY Inspiration Board Tutorial

Who doesn’t love looking at a beautiful motivation board that highlights your goals and aspirations? Or an inspiring prayer board that keeps you grounded each and every morning?

INGREDIENTS

  1. Sola Wood Flowers and Greenery
  2. Hot Glue Gun and Sticks
  3. Canvas or Board - I used a Gesso Wood Board (from Hobby Lobby - don’t forget to use 40% off code)
  4. Mini clothespins (click here for ones I used that includes the string)
  5. Pushpins
  6. String
  7. Optional: Sola Wood Softener

STEP 1

LAY YOUR FLOWERS OUT ON THE BOARD

Map out your project before you begin, you never know what other ideas you might come up with!

STEP 2

STRING THE BOARD

___________________________

Using pins and a hot glue gun, string the board back and forth 2-4 times.

STEP 3

GLUE ON THE FLOWERS

___________________________

If you’ve purchased a pre-dyed assortment, you are good to continue to this step!  You will place a dot of clue on the back of the flower, and assort them however you’d like on the board.

TIP: If you purchased a raw assortment, use a mix of water, sola softener, and acrylic paint to dye your flowers.  Wait about 24-48  hours after dyeing the flowers to use them!

STEP 4

CLIP ON THE MINI CLOTHESPINS AND CONTENT

What gets you inspired and motivated?  Clip on quotes or images that remind you of your goals, daily prayers, devotionals or anything else that gets you feeling inspired!
