STEP 1: GATHER THE MATERIALS

The flowers we are using for this tutorial are already stemmed. If you need to stem your flowers, head over to our How to Stem Tutorial for a detailed guide on how to stem Sola Wood Flowers.

Our Filler Section is full of different types of filler and greenery. You can find alternative accents depending on the theme of your wedding.

STEP 2: PREPARE THE WOOD BOX

Fit the floral foam into the rustic box. Take your glue gun and spread some glue on the bottom of the floral foam, and then place it directly in the middle of the centerpiece box.

STEP 3: ADD GREENERY BASE

Start filling the box with your first layer of greenery. Here we are using preserved willow eucalyptus leaves.

Add the next layer of fillers. This time, a silver dollar eucalyptus. Trim the stems as needed.

Continue adding greenery about an inch or two apart. Make sure to make space for the flowers.

STEP 3: ARRANGE THE SOLA WOOD FLOWERS

Grab a stem and decide on the height of your centerpiece. Shorten and adjust as you make the arrangement.

Work your way in between the fillers and greenery.

Distribute the raw flowers evenly throughout the arrangement.

Next, add in the dyed flowers.

Keep adding more flowers until you are happy with the volume and look of the arrangement.

STEP 4: ADD MORE FILLERS AND GREENERY

For a rustic look, we are adding foxtail grasses in between the flowers.

Fill in the gaps with more eucalyptus leaves making sure the floral foam is fully covered.

Finish the arrangement with willow leaves.

Gorgeous. Your rustic chic wood planter centerpiece will definitely fill your table with charm!
