STEP 1: Stem the Flowers

Learn how to stem wood flowers like a pro in this Tutorial. For our arrangement, we need both short and long stem flowers.

STEP 2: Prepare the Metal Hoop Stand and Mechanics

Cut a floral foam with a cutter or knife. The size of the foam base depends on how petite or huge you want the arrangement to be.

Attach the floral foam to the center of the stand. Establish it properly with floral tape making sure it doesn’t move when adding the flowers and greenery.

STEP 3: Build Your Greenery Base

Snip off the fern leaves from the stalk. You should have different-sized leaves.

The greenery will help cover the mechanics like foam and tape so make sure you are filling the entire outside with greens.

Add a few sprays of Dried Caspia. This will give more texture and color to the base.

STEP 4: Arrange the Sola Wood Flowers

Start inserting the flowers into the foam. Grab a flower and position it on one side of the hoop, bending the stem to follow the curve of the ring.

We are making an asymmetrical arrangement so you’ll notice that the stems are of varying heights.

Add flowers toward the base and continue to create your desired arrangement shape.

Let the flowers on the base cascade to the front and side.

If you are happy with the shape and balance of the flowers, it’s time to move on to the next step.

STEP 5: Add Finishing Touches

Beef up your arrangement with more filler flowers and greenery.

Cut branches off the stem to maximize the foliage on the arrangement. This time, we are adding various types of eucalyptus leaves.

Finish off with a few more sprays of dried caspia.

STEP 6: Decorate your Wedding Table

There you have it! A stunning, unique, and affordable centerpiece for your important event.
