FLORAL SUPPLIES AND TOOLS NEEDED

STEP 1: PREPARE THE MATERIALS

Slice the block of floral foam into four parts. The foams will be covered with flowers so it’s ok if they are not so polished or trimmed.

Secure the foams around the nozzle. An adhesive green tape is recommended, but scotch tape will work just fine.

STEP 2: STEM THE SOLA WOOD FLOWERS

Using a glue gun, apply hot glue on either the back of the flower or the tip of the stem. Push the stem into the center bottom of the flower. Cut the stems down to appropriate sizes depending on how wide you need the arrangement to be.

STEP 3: ARRANGE THE SOLA WOOD FLOWERS

Position the first stem on any side. Adjust the stems as you go. Cut some taller or shorter lengths to better fit the flowers around each other. Lastly, allow some distance in between the flowers for the fillers and greenery.

STEP 4: ADD FILLERS AND GREENERY

Start adding fillers. Burgundy eucalyptus complements our flowers in shades of red. Insert them throughout the arrangement by partially covering the mechanics.

Continue adding texture with preserved leather ferns. Make sure that a couple of leaves are longer than the flowers.

Distribute the fillers and greenery evenly throughout the blocks of foam.

Fill all remaining gaps with baby’s breath or gypsophila.

STEP 5: SET THE CANDLE AND GLASS SHADE

Finish it up when you are pleased with the arrangement. Add the candle in the middle of the nozzle.

Cover the candle with a glass lamp. This gives an extra aesthetic touch to the candelabra centerpiece and also adds a clever way to avoid catching fire. For safety, we recommend using battery-operated candles.

We’re loving how this candelabra centerpiece turned out! The outcome is amazing and the fact that you can use it as home decor after the wedding makes it even more special.
